About the Benjamin E. Gordon Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship was established in the memory of Benjamin Gordon and provides an annual scholarship to a graduating high school senior at Valdosta High School.

The Benjamin E. Gordon Memorial Scholarship is BeneFund’s inaugural scholarship, funded through the support of donors, and awarded annually to a senior at Valdosta High School who plans to pursue a 4-year college degree after graduation. This student not only excels academically, but also exemplifies the character traits of integrity, responsibility, humility, and self-discipline.

To date, the Benjamin E. Gordon Scholarship has awarded $10,000 in scholarships, and plans to continue this legacy of giving. Recipients have pursued careers in Medicine, Criminal Justice, and Engineering to name a few. They also attend schools across the US from Georgia Tech (GA) to Stanford University (CA).
